
Steps-9,871 The splendid tomb built in the memory of Emperor Humayun, the second Mughal ruler. The tomb was commissioned by Bega begum, Humayun’s Persian wife in 1565 AD, nine year after the Emperor’s death. It was completed in 1572 AD under the then ruler Mughal Emperor Akbar, the third ruler and Humayun’s son. Located in Nizzamuddin ,East Delhi. It was also declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993. Visiting time is from Sunrise to Sunset, all days of the week. The tomb is easy accessible by road as well as by Delhi metro, nearest metro are-Jorbagh and Race cource station(both in yellow line).Please don’t forget your Mobile camera, DSLR, Mirrorless camera….
